School activity calendar for the academic year 2024-25 in state schools has been announced by the Board of Secondary Education (Education Board). In which in the current new academic year 2024-25, the board exams of class 10 and 12 are planned to be held from 27 February 2025 to 13 March 2025. While 21 days Diwali vacation has been announced in schools.
The first examination date for all streams of class 9 to 12 in the school activity calendar for the academic year 2024-25 announced by the Gujarat Board of Secondary Education. To be taken from 14 December 2024 to 23 December 2024. While Prelim-II exam will be conducted from 20 January to 28 January 2025.
Class 9 Aptitude Test will be held on 30th January 2025. Apart from this the school level examination of the board subjects will be conducted from 31st January 2025 to 4th February 2025 for theoretical and practical class 10 and 12 all streams. Class 12 Science stream practical exam will start from 6th February-25th. Which will run till 14 February 2025.
First session of academic year 2024-25 dt. 13 June 2024 to 27 October 2024 means 108 days will be counted as working days. While Diwali vacation will be counted as 21 holiday days from 28 October 2024 to 17 November 2024. Second session dt. 18 October 2024 to 4 May 2025 in which there will be 135 working days and summer vacation 35 days from 5 May 2025 to 8 June 2025 has been declared. The first session of the next new academic year 2025-26 will start from 9th June 2025.
