battery swapping stations for these scooters.
Electric Activa will come in two variants
The company is bringing the Honda Activa EV in standard and RoadSync Duo
variants. In this, the standard variant will weigh 118 kg and the RoadSync Duo
variant will weigh 119 kg. Various displays and features will be available in
this.
Like the standard variant, you will get a 5-inch TFT screen. It will have
limited Bluetooth connectivity and functions. While the RoadSync Duo variant
will have a 7-inch dashboard, which will provide you with turn-by-turn
navigation, notification alerts.
Will get a range of 102 km
As soon as the glimpse of the Honda Activa EV was revealed, it became clear
that it will have a dual swappable battery of 1.5 kWh. Which will give a total
range of 102 km on a single charge. These batteries can be replaced at Honda's
Power Pack Exchanger battery swapping station. Currently, the company has
installed 83 such stations in Bengaluru. By 2026, there will be around 250
such stations in Bengaluru, which will give you the option of changing the
battery every 5 km radius. The company will start the same work in Delhi and
Mumbai.
Scooters will also be available without batteries
Customers will be able to buy this scooter without a battery and rent a
battery under the Battery as a Service model. However, the company will
announce its plans later. These electric scooters will be sold only from
Honda's existing stores, but soon the company will also open a separate
concept store exclusively for electric scooters.
Special features in the scooter made for India
Although many features have been taken from its European version CUV e in this
Honda scooter, but keeping its Indian experience in mind, Honda has also added
many special features. Yes, its body design is based on the petrol Honda
Activa. The company has given a ground clearance of 171 mm. It will get
12-inch wheels. The option of disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the
rear has been given.
Honda's electric scooter launched
However, due to the swappable battery, it has very little boot space left. At
the same time, the company has also given a small boot space at the front,
which also has a USB port for mobile charging. This is similar to the top
variant of the petrol Activa.
It will reach a speed of 60 km per hour in 7.3 seconds
With a swappable battery, this scooter will generate a power of 6kW, while the
torque will be 22 Newton meters. Its top speed will be 80 km per hour. While
the speed of 0-60 km per hour will be achieved in just 7.3 seconds. It will
get 3 modes for driving, these are Standard, Sport and Eco. There will also be
a reverse mode for ease of parking.

The company will also provide the features of H-Smart Key with Honda Activa
EV. This RoadSync Duo will be available with the smartphone variant. It will
have features like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start. Honda
has announced that by 2030, the company will launch a total of 30 models of
electric 2-wheelers in different countries of the world.
Honda Activa EV Color and Price
The Honda Activa electric scooter will be available in a total of 5 colors. It
will be available in two variants in blue colour. White, grey and black colour
options will also be available. The company has not yet revealed its price.
However, experts believe that its price will be in the range of TVS iQube and
Ather Rizta.
Honda QC1 with fixed battery
Honda has also shown a glimpse of the Honda QC1 electric scooter with a fixed
battery. It will be launched later in 2025. It is designed keeping in mind
short-distance journeys like dropping kids to school or going from home to the
neighborhood metro station. It will have a fixed battery of 1.5 kWh. Which
will generate a maximum power of 1.8 kW.

The company says that it will come with a 5-inch LCD instrument panel.
