It is worth mentioning that in Nagaur of Marwar, the tradition of filling
Mayra before marriage is very old, which is respected a lot in the village.
There are many mythological legends about Mayra, according to which, during
the Mughal period, this tradition has been going on since the Jats of Ghinyala
and Jayal Lichma Gujri were considered as their sisters.
